Famous Quote

"I go to the gym three to four times a week, try to eat healthy when I can and drink a lot of water. It really sucks to exercise but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. I want to get more into acting and become an actress. That's my one and only goal right now. That's the bad thing about Pisces, we can never make up our mind."

Biography Vida Guerra Biography

Vida Guerra (born March 19, 1974) is a Cuban-born American model, actress, and singer. Her first notable appearance was in the U.S. edition of FHM magazine in December 2002; since then, she has modeled for many other men's magazines. Her first notable appearance was in a shoot for the U.S. edition of FHM magazine, and since then, she has modeled for many other men's magazines, including Maxim. She often appears on Spanish television networks and is well known because of her large buttocks, which are usually accentuated in her photographs.

Vida Guerra sent sexy pictures of herself to FHM after learning the magazine was looking for "everyday" girls for a lingerie pictorial. Vida Guerra's pictures were published in the December 2002 issue and, soon afterwards, FHM was flooded with letters from readers demanding more of Guerra. The Cuban hottie got a call and agreed to pose in a full feature with the mag. In the year following her debut, Vida Guerra was a busy woman. She grinded her popular behind in P. Diddy's "Shake Ya Tailfeather" video, appeared on Chappelle's Show on Comedy Central, and was invited to appear on Cold Pizza, ESPN2's morning show. She even appeared as a muse in the short comedy Writer's Block. Vida Guerra was voted No. 26 in FHM's Top 100 Sexiest Females of 2005 and has twice been named the winner of the magazine's "Best Butt Award."

Born in Havana, Cuba, Guerra moved with her family to the United States soon after, ending up in the town of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. While growing up, she entered several fashion shows modeling swim wear, and appeared in a few music videos. Vida Guerra moved with her family to the United States soon after, ending up in the town of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. In interviews Vida has said that she was teased because of the size of her derriere, which was rather large for someone of her otherwise small stature. Growing up she entered a couple of runway shows modeling swimwear, and appeared in a few music videos. She eventually became a loan officer.

Guerra's first national exposure came when she appeared in a lingerie spread for FHM in December 2002. The magazine later reported that following its publication, almost one-third of their mail was from readers demanding more photos of her. She was called back for more photo shoots and became "FHM's Model of the Year" in 2004. Since then, she has been featured in many magazines, including DUB, Smooth, Escape, and Open Your Eyes, often as the "cover girl". Guerra has made multiple appearances on several Spanish language television programs such as El Gordo y la Flaca (The Fat Man and the Thin Woman).

Her modeling career originally began when she submitted some photos for the "Honey Next Door" section of FHM magazine, on the suggestion of an ex-boyfriend. The magazine later reported that following the submission, almost one-third of their mail was from readers demanding more photos of the five-foot-two girl. She was called back for more photo shoots and became "FHM's Model of the Year" in 2004. Since then, she has been featured on the front cover as well as on the inside of many magazines, including DUB, Smooth, Escape, and Open Your Eyes, and has made multiple appearances on several Spanish language television programs such as El Gordo y La Flaca (The Fat Man and the Skinny Woman).

Vida has also become a staple in music videos, appearing in "Shake Your Tailfeather" (P. Diddy, Nelly and Murphy Lee, from the soundtracks of Bad Boys 2) and "Workout Plan" (Kanye West) among others. Additionally, she has appeared in Burger King's Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch commercial, a couple of sketches on Chappelle's Show, like the infamous "Piss On You" videos (spoofing the infamous R. Kelly sex tape). She also appeared in the film National Lampoon Presents: Dorm Daze II.

She has also become a staple in music videos, appearing in "Shake Ya Tailfeather" (Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee, from the Bad Boys II soundtrack, 2003) and "The New Workout Plan" (Kanye West, 2004), in "Obsession (No Es Amor)" (Frankie J featuring Baby Bash, 2005) among others. In addition, Guerra has appeared in a commercial for Burger King's TenderCrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, a couple of sketches on Chappelle's Show (including "R. Kelly's '(I Wanna) Piss on You' Music Video", which spoofed the R. Kelly sex tape), and the film National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2. She lent her voice to the video game Scarface: The World Is Yours.

In April 2005, Guerra's camera phone was allegedly hacked. Dozens of photos, including nude pictures, were widely disseminated on the Internet. Guerra said the nude images were of another woman, and that they had been mixed with genuine, non-nude camera-phone images of her to create the false appearance that she was the naked woman pictured. However, the head of her record label maintained that the nude photos were of Guerra and that she had deliberately leaked them as a publicity stunt. Guerra was dropped by the label over this incident.

Guerra was voted Number 26 in "F.H.M's Top 100 Sexiest Females" of 2005 and has twice been named the winner of the magazine's "Best Butt Award". She has produced her own swimsuit calendars (and accompanying "behind the scenes" DVDs) and a 2006 DVD titled Vida Guerra: Exposed. Guerra also appears on Primped, a television program for mobile phones produced by GoTV Networks, in which she helps three "average" women become "primped".

The July 2006 issue of Playboy featured the first formal nude photos of Guerra. Part of her motivation for posing for the magazine, she said, was the camera phone incident; she wanted people to see what she really looked like naked. The first song from Guerra's debut album, "You Got Me", was leaked to the Internet on November 2, 2006. In 2007 Vida started hosting a speed tv show called Livin' The Low Life.
