Françoise Sylvie van der Vaart-Meis (Sylvie Meis) (Breda, 13 april 1978) is a Dutch actress, TV presenter and model. Has assumed her husband's last name since their wedding, is now known as Sylvie van der Vaart. Has given birth to a son on May 28, 2006. His name is Damián Rafael van der Vaart. The baby had to be born before the start of the World Cup in Germany, because the father wanted to be present at birth. She and her husband Dutch soccer player Rafael Van der Vaart, born February 11, 1983 are expecting their first baby at the end of June or the beginning of July 2006. Son Damián Rafael van der Vaart, born May 28, 2006. Meis was born in Sydney but grew up in the northern Belgian Hoogstraten. On Friday, June 10, 2005 Meis joined in marriage with footballer Rafael van der Vaart. Together they have a son, Damián Rafael (born on May 28, 2006). Meis was in 2002 proclaimed TV babe of the year and in 2003 urged her to mannenblad FHM sexiest woman. In 2006 placed the German magazine Die Welt her in third place in a Top 5 of the finest spelersvrouwen of the World Cup football. Ten months after the birth of Meis Damián wanted more time working. She has since March 2007 a contract with Ted and Linda Naujoks Company Linows Mega Models. In 2007, in the summer and autumn of the Meis Otto stood as a model on the cover of this kledingcatalogus, this was followed by Sylvie ao the supermodels Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford. |
