Jennifer Sky (born Jennifer Danielle Wacha on October 13, 1976) is an American actress. Jennifer was born in Jensen Beach, FL, where she lived until she was 17. After making some tough decisions about her life she choose to leave home and head for New York where she studied acting under the tutelage of several acclaimed acting coaches. She became well-versed in the Meisner technique of acting. Jennifer was born in Jensen Beach, Florida. She married The Calling singer Alex Band on July 24, 2004. Jennifer Sky Band, her sister Katie Wacha and Alex Band's sister, Taryn Band, created the fashion label 'Vanitas of California'. The label aims to make "feminine timeless clothing to make women feel beautiful, sexy, and comfortable". Jennifer is a very active person who enjoys running, snow-skiing, and spending time outdoors. She describes herself as "a family girl" and considers her mother to be her best friend. She has been blessed with a great career in acting ranging from a year on the Soap Opera General Hospital to guest appearances on SeaQuest and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. In theater, Jennifer has demonstrated her versatility by portraying such roles as Frenchie in the Juniper Theater production of "Grease" and Julie in the Martin Co. Theater production of "Romeo & Juliet". She recently landed a staring role in the new series, Cleopatra 2525. She has appeared on such TV shows as Xena: Warrior Princess and Cleopatra 2525, and in guest roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, and a porn star in CSI:Miami. She was ranked #90 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2003. Jennifer appeared in the music video for 'Anything' by The Calling. Her husband Alex Band said he'd always wanted her in one of their videos and as he wrote the song for her it was only fitting she should be in that video. There was a lost episode of "Xena" that had a Jennifer's character Amarice play a significant role. She was to be captured by Alexander the Great, and she was to have had a nude scene.
