Famous Quote: “Women are complex. I wish I were not as complicated as I am. But what I like about the pictures is that they show sides of me that most photographers never even bother to look for. I’ve been photographed so often in the same ways, and I’ve done it for so long. I appreciate that took the trouble to see beyond that, to see beyond my skin. For me, that’s sexy.”

Biography: Stephanie M. Seymour (born July 23, 1968 in San Diego, California) is a model who has done modeling work for many well-known fashion magazines and fashion designers. She has appeared on over 300 magazine covers.
Stephanie’s first experience of modelling came when she was a little girl – her mother was a photographer and would use Stephanie as a model. Her modelling career began after she entered the Californian heat of the Elite ‘Model Look’ contest when she was 15 years old. She won the final and Elite signed her up.
She started her modeling career working for local newspapers and department stores in her hometown at the age of 14. A year later she won the Elite Model Management Look of the Year model contest. Standing 5’10″, Seymour is noted for her long, graceful legs in modeling swimwear, lingerie, hosiery, sleepwear, and clothing.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Seymour appeared in numerous issues of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, including once on the cover of the magazine. During the same period, Seymour was a primary lingerie and hosiery model for the relatively new Victoria’s Secret company in its mail-order catalogs and retail stores. She, Jill Goodacre and Dutch model Frederique helped Victoria’s Secret grow from a new company to one of the world’s giants in women’s lingerie, hosiery, swimwear, and clothing.

In 2002 she was Sara Lindstrom in the “Crazy” episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. At the age of 15 she began dating John Casablancas, the head of Elite Model Management, who was married, and by 17 was living with him. At 19, she broke off the relationship.
