Famous Quote: “I’m the one who’s always kissing all the boys and stuff. I believe in magic, psychics and all that. I’ve spoken to people who I swear can tell the future. Be yourself, fill your life with good people, and don’t get a big head. It can all be gone tomorrow. If you would’ve told me back then that I’d be here five years later, I would’ve said, “You’re crazy!” We have the best dysfunctional family, we’re passionate, we laugh, we joke around.”

Biography: Molly Sims (born May 25, 1973 in Murray, Kentucky) is an American model and actress. Hailing from Murray, Kentucky, the 5’9 1/2” Molly Sims never planned on becoming a supermodel. Originally she wanted to be a lawyer and was pre-law at Vanderbilt University. However, a roommate convinced the green-eyed blonde to pose for a few photographs and send them to agencies in New York. Sims agreed, and a few weeks later her life took drastic turn when the NEXT Modeling Agency signed her. Sims soon found herself traveling Germany, London and Milan to model instead of returning to Vanderbilt. So much for a legal career.
Born to Jim and Dottie Sims, she was raised in Murray, Kentucky. She enrolled in Vanderbilt University for two years but dropped out in 1993 to pursue a career in modeling. While at Vanderbilt, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. Though her parents were wary at first, they eventually supported their daughter’s sudden change in course, which Sims credited as being a key factor to her success. As her career progressed, Sims appeared in many of the top fashion magazines, including Elle, Vogue and Madame Figaro. Magazine covers soon turned into advertisements, as Sims appeared for Nautica, Armani, Chanel and Victoria’s Secret.
She was an official spokesmodel for Old Navy ads known for using the tag line “You gotta get this look!” She appeared in the Sports Illustrated “Swimsuit Issue”" in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006 as well as MTV’s House of Style. In the 2006 issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit she appeared in a photo wearing an extremely skimpy bikini worth $30 million that was made of diamonds. She is a CoverGirl model. But Sims knew that she wouldn’t be a model forever, so she began to segue into acting, first by hosting the long-running MTV fashion series, “House of Style”.
Since “House of Style” helped launch the on-air careers of famous supermodels Cindy Crawford and Rebecca Ramijn-Stamos, it was no wonder the still-unknown Sims was nervous about the prospect. A few months after what she thought was an awful screen test, Sims got a callback and eventually the job in 2000. Sims went on to other hosting gigs mainly TV specials including “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2001”, “World’s Sexiest Athletes” (2002) and “MTV’s Mardi Gras 2002”. She also appeared in a series of popular commercials for Old Navy, and, as a former competitive swimmer, Sims posed for numerous Sport’s Illustrated swimsuit editions.
She also appeared as Delinda Deline in the series Las Vegas. The program has ensured that Molly remains in the public eye constantly. Currently on Las Vegas, her character is engaged to Danny McCoy, Josh Duhamel. Sims’ transition into acting continued in 2002, when she appeared on an episode of the Fox sitcom “Andy Richter Controls the Universe” and in an episode of UPN’s short-lived “The Twilight Zone” revival: in a remake of the original series’ the “Eye of the Beholder” episode, Sims played a woman who discovers that beauty is, indeed, in the eye of the beholder. Next Sims landed a regular series role in “Las Vegas” (2003 – ) playing the sexy, manipulative Delinda Deline, daughter of casino chief Big Ed Deline (James Caan), whose dalliances with her dad’s top employee Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel) strain relationships between the three.
She recently left a six-year relationship with actor Enrique Murciano, who plays Danny Taylor on Without a Trace. She has said publicly that they were at the point in the relationship where it was time to get married or go their separate ways. She appeared in the 2006 movie The Benchwarmers, and will appear in the upcoming movie The Pink Panther Deux. Molly is an avid yoga practitioner.
