Famous Quote: “There’s something really great and romantic about being poor and sleeping on couches. I think that reality TV is so bad. It is a tool by the media to not make people think. So that’s the biggest obvious difference. The other one is that you’re dealing with a concept that forces you to relinquish your ability to believe. I’ll give it a shot. But I don’t know that a year from now I’m going to be here. Nobody does.”

Biography:  Mathew St. Patrick (born March 17, 1968) is an American actor. He has starred as Adrian Sword in the television soap opera All My Children (1998-2000), starred (2001-2005) as Keith Charles on HBO drama Six Feet Under, was the first voice of Skulker (2004) on Danny Phantom and starred as the principal detective in the Fox fall drama, Reunion (2005).

Handsome and genial African-American player Mathew St. Patrick found fame among pay-cable aficionados in the early 2000s, with his portrayal of Keith, the gay lover turned husband of mortician David (Michael C. Hall) on the HBO original series Six Feet Under. Following the end of that series, St. Patrick took on a regular role as Detective Kenneth Marjorino on the short-lived mystery drama series Reunion on the Fox network. He achieved his next major dramatic coup by essaying the small part of Special Agent Wick in the crime-tinged actioner War (2007) — a big-screen feature about an FBI agent (Jet Li) who sets out to gain revenge for the death of his family and ends up caught in a war between a triad and the yakuza.

Mathew St. Patrick was popularly known for playing Keith Charles on the award-winning HBO series Six Feet Under. His character was an openly gay Los Angeles police officer that was also noted for being the tempestuous lover of David Fisher (Michael C. Hall). Prior to his sudden death, which was revealed on the obituary at the end of the series, he was able to establish his own security company, adopted two sons, and after many hurdles, ended up marrying David. In the coming months, the 39-year-old actor will be gracing the big screen with several flicks and will be returning on the small screen with a new pilot.

On August 2007 Patrick’s action-thriller movie War hit the theaters. Starring Jet Li and Jason Statham, the film centers on an FBI agent who seeks vengeance on a mysterious assassin who murdered his parents. Also underway this year is Ball Don’t Lie, a movie in which the former Six Feet Under actor stars in basketball centered drama based on Matt de la Pena’s novel.

In addition to his upcoming movies, he is also currently preoccupied in filming NBC’s one-hour pilot called Backyard and Bullets. St. Patrick stars along with Lou Diamond Phillips in a plot that revolves around a suburban neighborhood watch group gone awry. In his free time, he likes to read, cook, sing (he sang in a gospel choir for two years), play sports (everything from basketball to softball) and enjoy the great outdoors. Is the middle child of four children – one sister and two brothers. Has a son, Tommy, who is 10, as of 2005.

Following his stint on Six Feet Under, Mathew St. Patrick landed a guest role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also starred on the television series Reunion, in which he played Kenneth Marjorino, the principle detective tasked to investigate the brutal murder during the night of their 20-year class reunion.
