Famous Quote: “I’ve noticed that people aren’t as interested in poring over my wedding album as I am. Not only that, but some of what I consider to be average pictures get a great reaction, while some of my best ones go by without getting so much as a grunt. Maybe it’s because they aren’t half as interesting as the memories they conjure up in my head.”

Biography: Kimberly Williams Paisley (born September 14, 1971 in Rye, New York) is an American actress. An attractive ingenue who invited comparisons with Elizabeth Taylor when she put a “modern woman” spin on Taylor’s famous role in the 1991 remake of the 1950 sentimental comedy “Father of the Bride”, Williams began acting in commercials as a teenager and got her first TV role as the Other Woman in “Stood Up” (1990), an “ABC Afterschool Special”.
Kimberly Williams was born in Rye, New York to parents Gurney, a freelance medical journalist, and Linda, a fund-raiser. Williams has been in show business since the age of 13. In 1989 she directed the Rye High School Musical Revue. She left Northwestern University during her sophomore year to appear in the 1991 film version of Father of the Bride but returned to complete her degree in drama. While there she was a sister of the Alpha Phi sorority.
Williams-Paisley is known for her role as Annie Banks in Father of the Bride (1991) and Father of the Bride Part II (1995), with Steve Martin and Diane Keaton. She currently plays Dana in the ABC sitcom According to Jim and starred as Virginia in the NBC mini-series The 10th Kingdom. Williams was attending Northwestern University when she won the role of the daughter of Steve Martin and Diane Keaton in “Father of the Bride”.
She gained favorable notices for her wholesome, no-nonsense approach to the role. She returned to college, appearing only in such low-impact fare as the thriller “Secret Games” (1992) and the comedy “Indian Summer” (1993). Williams reprised her role as Annie Banks, this time as an expectant mother, in “Father of the Bride, Part II” (1994), loosely based on “Father’s Little Dividend” (1951). In 1996, she appeared in “The War at Home” before making her TV series debut on ABC’s romantic drama “Relativity” (1996-97).
Beginning from May 1997, Williams dated tennis star Pete Sampras. The relationship ended in 1999. Williams married country star Brad Paisley on March 15, 2003. She then took on her husband’s name to differentiate herself from brunette Playboy model Kimberly Williams. They live in Franklin, Tennessee.
Brad Paisley had seen “Father of the Bride” with a former girlfriend. They broke up, but when “Father of the Bride II” was released, he went to the theater hoping his former girl would do the same. She never showed up, but in an interview with an Atlanta County Radio station, he said that he watched Williams’ performance and thought, “I’d love to marry a girl like her.” This lead to Paisley’s lyrics in his Part II album. He used the pretense of planning a video of the song as a pickup line to meet Kim, but never intended to make the video. After they were dating, Williams appeared in a video for the song “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)” in 2002, the last release from Part II album.
She has a sister, actress Ashley Williams and a brother, Jay Williams. Brad Paisley has stated that Kim was the basis for his 2004 hit Little Moments. Specifically the opening part, which reads as follows: “Well I’ll never forget the first time that I heard that pretty mouth say that dirty word. And I can’t even remember now, what she backed my truck into. But she covered her mouth and her face got red and she just looked so darn cute. That I couldn’t even act like I was mad- Yeah I live for little moments like that.”
The two events were taken right from the first time Brad heard her swear and how she started to blush when he found a dent in his truck. Kim even appeared in the music video for the song. On February 22, 2007, she gave birth to her and Paisley’s first child, a boy named William Huckleberry Paisley, in Nashville, Tennessee.
